# Change Symbol
You can change the symbol / contract by clicking the current symbol and typing the contract symbol in the search box. For information on how to have your charts automatically update other components on change, see [here](/getting-started/linking-components.md#create-color-link-chart).
You can also click on the chart and type directly into your keyboard the name of the symbol.
