# Time and Sales

### Time and Sales Component

The Time and Sales component, often referred to as the "tape," provides real-time data on executed trades for the contract selected. It includes the following information:

* **Trade Time**: Showing when each trade occurred.
* **Price**: The price at which the trade was executed.
* **Size (Volume):** The number of contracts traded.

To add Time and Sales to your layout, first add it as a [component](/components.md).

#### Color Indicators on Price

* **Red**: indicates the contract was traded at or below the bid price, which may be a bearish indicator
* **Green**: indicates the contract was traded at or above the ask price, which may a be bullish indicator\ <br>

### Size Filter

The size filter on the Time and Sales component allows traders to focus on trades that are greater than or equal to the specified size, making it easier to spot major market moves and filter out smaller, less impactful trades.
